Public safety leaders strive to support the Mission and their people, but often put themselves last. Burnout commonly follows, affecting not only personal health and life, but work performance and attitude.
This course is for leaders of all ranks and roles to prime themselves for the continual demands of public service and first responder careers. Lessons go into the “how to” of personalizing mindset and wellness in order to optimize performance and model grit and determination for our teams.
I enjoyed your class. Your material is fresh, accurate and refreshing. I am going to talk to my chain of command to propose that we give this class to all of my region.

Lead Yourself Well is an excellent course for any law enforcement professional, at any rank or any agency. Commander Tung facilitates this class in small groups, allowing for colleague discussion. Meaningful conversation occurred during my recent session.
It was great connecting with other officers as we often share the same concerns or have dealt with similar critical incidents. What's powerful in "Lead Yourself Well" is the clear mission and the content that is presented; we have to take care of ourselves in a holistic way to be the best public servants that our community deserves. Moreover, our identity isn't fully wrapped up in our careers.
Our identities include titles such as friend, mom, dad, brother, son, daughter, etc. As first responders, we have to take care of ourselves because our family needs us. Thank you to Commander Tung for presenting great resources and content during this training. It's important for law enforcement professionals to have spaces to have these critical conversations that produce a growth mindset with the end goal of positively influencing our own law enforcement agencies."
