Two things are certain: Death and Grit.
 
Memento Mori is a mantra of the Stoics.  It is a reminder that our days are numbered.  This is not a caution to paralyze us from decision and action, rather the opposite- to free us that we may live fully gratitude of the time we have.  Each day we have is a gift.  Our time is an invitation to better ourselves daily in service to others.
 
A play on "death and taxes," The Death and Grit Tee reminds us that we always have the choice of grit: growth and determination.
